Company founder, Philip, having a lifelong passion for growing, made the decision in 2011 to start a chilli farm so he could produce a range of hot sauces.
During his first season he found he had a lot of unused space between the 5000 chilli plants he was growing, and started experimenting with micro greens. This lead to a sudden interest from local chefs and foodies.
The following year he started Shoots and Greens and is now based at Huntstile farm, growing edible flowers and other lovely little leaves.
